Harrogate Town AFC opened their doors for the evening as coaches, players and fans from across the game joined us for a fantastic evening with the Lionesses coach. Following an introductory theory session, Marieanne led a one hour practical session with the U17 squad from North Yorkshire Girls Centre of Excellence on the main pitch at The CNG Stadium to showcase key elements of the England DNA that coaches can take away and use with their own players. After the practical, we held and open Q&A session for any attendees to ask questions on Marieanne’s career, from being hailed as one of England’s greatest ever senior female players to winning bronze with the Lionesses at the recent FIFA World Cup in Canada.
