The Yolo County Sheriff's Office said they were called to a shooting just after 9 p.m. on Tuesday, July 20, at a home on Country Road 45 in Guinda, in rural Yolo County. When deputies arrived, they found two people had been shot, according to a Facebook post by the Yolo County Sheriff's Office. One of them was pronounced dead at the scene and the other was taken to a hospital with a serious injury from the gunshot. Deputies determined that the shooter was the property owner, who was not injured, according to the Facebook post.
