Open the Settings app, and then tap "System" in this menu. Step 2. Scroll down this list of options, and then tap "Repair Mode." The next screen gives you an overview of Android's Repair Mode, letting you know that Repair Mode is a secure environment that protects your apps and personal data from being accessed by others. Step 3. Tap "Enter Repair Mode." Your Android device will restart and boot up in Repair Mode. Whenever you're ready to take your device out of Repair Mode, all you need to do is navigate back to this section, and then tap to turn off Repair Mode. Your device will restart and you'll need to sign back in.
