Living full-time in our RV means we deal with our own water and sewer waste frequently. Emptying sewer tanks is probably one of the least glamourous parts of RV living, but it’s a necessity. We’ve found that using this process for emptying tanks helps to keep our sewer hoses less stinky. Here's the order we dump. We have 3 waste tanks. 1️⃣ Black tank- toilet 2️⃣ Grey tank- kitchen sink 3️⃣ Grey tank- shower & bathroom sink Do you empty your trailer’s waste tanks in this order? P.S. we keep hand sanitizer nearby in case you were worried 💩😁 and is it Grey or Gray? We've lived in our 5th wheel trailer full-time since 2021, traveling the US with our kids. We share lots of cool RV gadgets, camper upgrades, trailer DIY projects, and just regular old life on the road.
