If you saw the thumbnail, you can see I HAVE to be smart with my low back training. Sadly the days of ripping deads off the floor are long gone. Do I freaking miss them, 100%. But I if I want to still train hard, I had to find other ways to work my erectors without destroying my spine. In today’s video I go over Banded Good Mornings, Hyperextensions and the Reverse Hyper as excellent substitutes for deadlifts or rack pulls. If you aren’t doing these 3, I highly recommend them all……..you can safely smash your low back without the fear of blowing a disc or being out of the gym bc of an injury. I am a big believer in working around an injury as opposed to training through it. Now that thought process took me years to develop, but now at 38 I see the importance.
