Save Money! In this weeks video we will be talking about frugal habits that can actually be costing us money. Habits that you may need to reevaluate for their worth. While designed to save money, certain "budget" habits can lead to greater long term expenses and waste. We will be covering common mistakes that frugal people make in their pursuit to save money. I will also be sharing my $5.00 Goodwill birthday haul. Cheeseburger Skillet- 1/2 pound Ground Beef 1 1/2 cups Hot Water 1 cup Milk 4 oz. Egg Noodles 1/2 cup cooked Broccoli 1 cup shredded Cheese 1 Tablespoon Ketchup 1 teaspoon Mustard 1 Tablespoon Corn Starch 1 teaspoon Paprika 1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder 3/4 teaspoon Sugar Salt and Pepper to taste Brown ground beef and drain excess oil. Slowly and carefully add the hot water and gently stir. Next, add the milk and stir. Add all the seasonings and stir again to incorporate everything. Then add the egg noodles and mix to incorporate. Over medium heat bring to a gentle boil stirring often. Once it comes to a gentle boil reduce heat to low cover the pan and cook for approximately 5 minutes or until the noodles are tender. Throughout the 5 minute cooking time stir occasionally. After noodles are tender remove the lid add the cheese and broccoli. Cook for another 2-3 minutes over low heat until cheese is melted and broccoli is heated through. Enjoy! Refrigerate any leftover portions and eat within 2-3 days.
