A light, a proof, a guardian, a sword, and a hand! يدُ الجبارِ يا حيدر..يمناكَ في المعارِكْ Oh, Haydar, the hand of the Almighty… your hand that fights in the battles. فكم بالضربِ والطعنِ...أدَّتْ خيرَ المناسِكْ How many strikes and thrusts… became acts of worship. هي الطوفانُ والنار...تهوي فوق الرقابِ It is a flood and a fire… descending upon necks. بعزرائيلَ منصوره...والخدامُ الملائكْ With Azrael (Angel of Death) as a supporter… and angels as servants. علي علي يومُ الحربِ Ali, Ali, on the day of war. علي علي كفُّ الربِ Ali, Ali, the hand of the Lord. علي علي سرُّ الله علي Ali, Ali, the secret of Allah, Ali. علي علي خيرُ الناسِ Ali, Ali, the best of people. علي علي سيفُ الباسِ Ali, Ali, the sword of courage. علي علي اسم الله علي Ali, Ali, the name of Allah, Ali. علي مولا مولا Ali O master, master. نهواكَ وَكَمْ مِنَ الحبِّ ما قَتَلْ We love you, and how much love has caused us to sacrifice our lives. أصلُ ديننا بهذا الحبِّ اكتَمَلْ The foundation of our faith is completed through this love. والحقُ بَدَا..من هذا النِّدا And the truth appeared… from this call. قل حيَّ على عليٍّ خيرِ العَمَلْ Say, “Hasten to Ali, the best of deeds!” وهذا الحبُ بالذرِّ لمَّا ما كنتُ شيَّا This love was ingrained in my essence when I was nothing. سُقِيناهُ من كفِّ الكرار ريَّا رويَّا We were nourished with it [love] from the hand of Al-Karrar (Ali), fully and abundantly. أنا العطشان مولايَ هبني حتى أراك I am the thirsty one, my master; grant me the chance to see you. فإن القلبَ لا يرجو فيهِ إلا عليا ! For my heart desires nothing but Ali! علي علي اصلُ الحب Ali, Ali, the origin of love. علي علي نبض القلب Ali, Ali, the pulse of the heart. علي علي عينُ الله علي Ali, Ali, the eye of Allah, Ali. علي علي أنتَ الصدقُ Ali, Ali, you are truth. علي علي أنت الحقُّ Ali, Ali, you are justice. علي علي نور الله علي Ali, Ali, the light of Allah, Ali. علي مولا مولا Ali O master, master.
