House Republicans have accused the White House of releasing a false transcript of US President Joe Biden’s “garbage” comment. During a Zoom campaign event on Tuesday, the 81-year-old president seemingly referred to Donald Trump’s supporters as “garbage”. According to Fox News, the White House’s revised version could violate the Presidential Records Act. House Republican Conference Chair Elise Stefanik and House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer are behind the accusations. Fox News Digital recently obtained a letter sent by both House Republicans to White House counsel Edward Siskel on Wednesday. In the letter, Stefanik and Comer demanded the records relating to the remarks and transcript be sealed.
