I originally wrote this song for my daughter Kelly, to lift her up and remind her to believe in herself. But as I wrote, I realized it was the very message I needed to hear too. Growing up, life doesn’t always go the way we plan. Sometimes we wonder: “Do I really have what it takes?” If you’ve ever felt that way, I want you to know — yes, you do. You belong here. Every one of us is a vital piece in life’s big, beautiful puzzle. What makes you different isn’t a flaw — it’s how you’re meant to be. Becoming who you’re meant to be takes time. Hard moments are not roadblocks, they are just experiences. Meet them with courage, stay curious, and trust that you’re exactly where you need to be. You’re growing into yourself, day by day. There’s no need to force it. So please, believe in yourself.
