One of the most common IELTS topics is that of the environment. In fact, there is a very good chance that you will be asked to talk about the environment in your next test. It could appear in the reading, listening, speaking, or writing portions of the IELTS exam. For some people, though, it is not an easy topic. They lack ideas and vocabulary. As such, in this video I want to share with you some vocabulary about the environment. I will also present it in a way that gives you some ideas to talk about, too. In this video, we will look at three areas: 1) the natural environment, 2) environmental problems, and 3) solutions to these problems. I have structured it like this because it relates to the sort of ways in which the topic of the environment arises in the IELTS exam.
