how to look good on a budget || + instagram inspired outfits! recently, prices have been increasing for clothing items and it's getting to a point where a simple t-shirt costs around $40-$50 which is RIDICULOUS. today i wanted to show you guys how to break through those ridiculous prices and still be able to look bomb without spending your whole life savings. you don't have to spend thousands of dollars to feel good, so today i'm going to show you all: ways around the expensive price tags. PLACES TO SHOP AT: 1.markets the reason i love shopping at markets so much is that everything is so incredibly cheap!! clothing pieces that look brand new are being sold for less than $5!! instead of wasting my money at an expensive store in the shopping center, I'd honestly rather save $50 and buy clothes from a market. this is not the only reason though!!! when you purchase things from a market, others are less likely to have them because the items are most likely not up for sale in stores anymore. and you can get very unique clothing items from markets!! 2.DFO in melbourne, there are a couple of DFO's. the DFO is a shopping area where everything is cheaper than actual shopping centers. this is because the clothes that are being sold at DFO are out of season or didn't make it into stores. 3.items from your closet!!! literally, before you actually go out and spend your money on clothes, have a look in your closet and check if you can piece a nice outfit together. STEP OUTSIDE OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE wear things you wouldn't usually wear!! purchase clothes you wouldn't usually go for, but just try something new. you never know, you might end up really loving the way it looks on you. UNIQUE PIECES i don't know about y'all but i don't want to be wearing the exact same outfit as someone else. i want to stand out and be different so a great way to do this, is to buy pieces that you know you love and things others you know would not. buy clothes that catch your eye and scream your name in the distance. don't go to stores everyone else goes to. try other stores!! DIY YOUR OWN CLOTHES a really good way to save money is to DIY clothes rather than to buy them. if you aren't the best at this DIY 'thing', then visit your local op shop/thrift store and buy clothes that you could easily transform by just simply cutting them with a pair of scissors. another way to diy your clothes is by using transfer paper. transfer paper is literally the coolest invention ever!!!! you can print any design you would like to onto your shirt. JEWELLERY (yes i am aware i spelt jewellery wrong in the video) anyways! adding a piece of jewellery to your outfit can transform your outfit from boring to..... NOT! all you have to do is wear a bracelet, necklace or a ring. it's THAT simple. recently, choker necklaces have been very popular and really change the whole look of an outfit. GO-TO COMFORTABLE OUTFIT if you are very lazy and you can never be stuffed to get ready, but still want to look good, then this is the outfit for you!! i see many many many university students wearing this type of style. an oversized jumper, leggings and big bulky white shoes. to spice this outfit up though, just add fake glasses or any piece of jewellery! HAIR & MAKEUP even if you don't do your makeup, one thing i recommend you try do, is at least your brows. a 5-minute makeup look can literally enhance and brighten up your face! if you don't like wearing makeup at all, that is totally fine!! maybe do something fun with your hair such as a dutch or french braid. -------------------------------------- social media: Instagram: @maskitmati twitter: @maskitmati snapchat: @maskitmati FAQ (frequently asked questions) Q: is maskit really your name?
