Mývatn in northern Iceland refers to both Mývatn Lake and the surrounding area. Mývatn is known it's volcanic pseudo-craters which were formed 2,300 years ago. Mývatn is also known for its annoying midges (flies) as you will see in the video. In fact, Mývatn means "lake of midges." I was surrounded by hundreds of them while I was filming. Mývatn is just another example of Iceland's amazing landscapes! Please SUBSCRIBE to Andy's Awesome Adventures and enable "All" on the Subscribe bell icon. Thank you!
