I decided to raise my garden beds from 8inches to 2 feet. I will be 57 inches a few days and trying to make life easy on myself with less bending. To fill the beds I utilized a layering of the old soil, dead plants, cardboard, leaves, twigs, and water to weight down the layers before adding the soil. I also salvaged as many plants as possible.
