Ingredients: Maida - 120gms Sugar power - 90gms Milk - 3- 4 Tablespoon or as required Custard Power - 3 Tablespoon(30gm) Butter - 75gms Vanilla/pineapple Essene - 1/2Tablespoon (optional) Tutti - Frutti - 30gms Cashew - 30gms Baking powder - 1/2 Tablespoon Baking soda - 1/4 Tablespoon Procedure to make Biscuit: • Take 75gm butter(salted), keep in room temperate and beat it until it becomes soft. • NOTE: If you are using unsalted butter, then add pitch of salt. • Add sugar power (3/4 cup)and beat it until sugar melts and the yellow mixture becomes whitish silky smooth mixture • Sieve Maida -1cup and add it in prepared mixture, then add custard power -3tsp, baking powder- 1/2 tsp, baking soda 1/4 tsp and mix it softly • Add Vanilla/pineapple Essene 1/2 tsp and add little - little milk and mix it. • Now add Tutti- Frutti and broken cashew nuts, mix it softly using fingers and make as dough, by adding required milk and then biscuit dough is ready • Roll it into cylindrical or rectangular shape ,as shown in video and wrap it tightly using of the aluminium foil / cling wrap /plastic sheet • Refrigerate for 1 hour and remove it out • Remove the aluminium foil and cut it into thick slice • Grease the baking tray with butter and arrange cut biscuit • Preheat the cooker, to bake the biscuits. ----Steps to Preheat the cooker and to bake : • Add salt in the cooker and keep a stand on salt, don’t use the gasket in the cooker lid, close the cooker lid and don’t use the cooker whistle then heat in medium flame for 10mins. • Now remove the cooker lid , keep the baking tray which has the prepared biscuits inside it. • Close the lid with the gasket, bake it for 15 mins in low flame (not in medium or high flame)and after 15mins ,turn off the stove. • Leave it for 5-10 mins inside the cooker and then remove the baking tray out of the cooker. • Let the tray cool completely and the Karachi or Tutti-frutti is ready. • Store the biscuit in dry and airtight box.
