Emma Grede is founding partner and chief product officer of Kim Kardashian's shapewear brand Skims. She is also is CEO of size-inclusive brand Good American, founded with Khloe Kardashian. She and her husband, Jens, are also founding investors in Kylie Jenner's fashion line Khy, which launched in 2023. In March 2024, she and Jens took a stake in luxury cashmere label The Elder Statesman. Raised in East London by a single mother, Grede started a paper route at age 12 and saved her pennies to buy fashion magazines. She founded fashion and entertainment marketing agency ITB Worldwide in 2008 and is the first Black woman to serve as an investor on the popular ABC series Shark Tank. She is chairwoman of The Fifteen Percent Pledge, a nonprofit that works to get retailers to dedicate 15% of their monthly budget to Black-owned businesses.
