Every week, I set aside $20 and scour my local Goodwill Bins in search of historically significant, valuable or just plain COOL items I can save from a landfill-bound fate. This week, I finally crossed the coveted vintage tube radio off my thrift bucket list! It's a 1940 Packard Bell model that's still in working condition! I've ordered some replacement parts and will also be treating the wood to bring it back to its original glory. Stay tuned for that restoration video! Then, I found a set of 3 gorgeous Sterling Silver & Abalone Inlay Animal shaped brooches made in Alpaca, Mexico. Originally, I only found 2 but had this gut feeling there would be another in the bin. After 5 minutes of bending & heavy lifting, the little seahorse finally appeared! It's always worth it to double check! OF COURSE, I had to save another clear lucite & metal purse for my collection! These mid century bags are so well made! As someone who has dealt with dry rot a lot in their career, these are always a welcomed find! This last find might surprise you, but I'm not actually a Kate Spade girl. At least not on the level that I am with other brands. There's a few reasons for this: personal aesthetic, frequently worn color palettes and price point. However, I really liked this 2 pack of pearl & crystal stud earrings. I would not have afforded their regular $78 price point but the thrift gods had other plans! What was your favorite find this week?! I would love to know your thoughts 💛 #thrifting #goodwillbins #thrifthaul #resellercommunity
