Last night I rolled into Spain. So, welcome to Madrid. I'm on Instagram at http://www.instagram.com/brendanvanson I got into Madrid seriously jetlagged. It's been a long couple days of travel to get from Medellin to Spain. I think, I've spent more time in airplanes than out of them over the past week. It's been kind of crazy. So, I'm excited to finally get to Madrid and have some time to explore and not worry about when my next plane will be. I get a nice welcome to Madrid with some beautiful, albeit cold, weather. After all the storms in the US it's nice to see the sun and be able to go out and explore without worrying about the rain. This episode starts with a quick wander out into Madrid to go get some chores taken care of, and also to get some lunch. I hit up a place near Plaza Sol to get a set lunch which was fantastic. Then, after a quick afternoon nap, I headed out in the afternoon to shoot some timelapse and hyperlapse footage of Madrid. I think it came out pretty cool. To be honest, I wasn't going to vlog at all today. I was tired, and as much as I wanted to give you the first Madrid vlog (and Spain vlog) I really just wasn't feeling it. So, I'm glad I forced myself to do some vlogging because I think it was a pretty fun episode. It was certainly a fun day. Now, I'm off to bed to try to beat this jetlag.
