We tested how much wood 12 different brands removed and figured out not only which brand is the best but which one has the best value. I believe this is the first test of its kind and certainly proves our results to be consistent and reliable. I go over which types of sandpaper are used for woodworking, how they’re made, and which materials they use. We have some REALLY COOL slow motion footage of a Random Orbital Sander using different grits. This test was done in conjunction with Mike Taylor from Tytools and really taught me some things I thought were wrong.
