Every day, thousands of undocumented migrants and refugees from Latin America, the Caribbean and beyond use Mexico as a transit country to reach the US in search of a better life. But a new trend has taken authorities by surprise. Tens of thousands of refugees and migrants now want to make Mexico their new home.
