Amazon is set to invest billions of dollars in AI infrastructure in Pennsylvania, according to Gov. Josh Shapiro. Shapiro made the announcement Monday morning at an event in Berwick, Pa. “Pennsylvania is competing again – and I'm proud to announce that with Amazon's commitment of at least $20 billion to build new state-of-the-art data center campuses across our Commonwealth, we have secured the largest private sector investment in the history of Pennsylvania," Shapiro said in a statement. Shapiro said the initial investment from Amazon will create thousands of good-paying, stable jobs. The first two data center campuses will be built in Luzerne and Bucks counties. #Amazon #AI #pennsylvania #buckscounty #luzernecounty #jobs #economy
