West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Sunday launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) over its landmark win in the Lok Sabha polls. The West Bengal CM alleged that the BJP misused EVMs, CRPF and the Election Commission (EC) to sweep polls. She also urged the EC to conduct Panchayat and Municipal polls through ballot paper. The TMC chief was speaking at the annual Martyrs' Day rally in Kolkata. Martyrs' Day is observed to commemorate protestors killed in police firing.
