I compared iPhone’s ‘Cleanup’ feature against Google’s ‘Magic Eraser,’ and the results were quite surprising. By the way, I used the same photo on both phones, and I took that photo with a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. First, I tried to remove some objects on the table, and both did quite well. However, Apple is a bit more intelligent, as it also removes the reflection of the suggested object, while Google treats the reflection separately. After that, I started removing people from the photo. Both phones easily removed the person who was standing and the one in the background, but when I tried to remove myself completely, the couch got completely messed up on both phones. Lastly, the face blur feature on iPhone doesn’t work as expected most of the time, but it can scare the hell out of you! All in all, Apple’s intelligence works quite well, especially given that it's still in beta. Subscribe @beebomco for more cool tech videos like this one.
