California regulators have just approved a massive expansion of Google's Waymo self-driving taxi service. Now Waymo is approved for almost the whole Silicon Valley/SF/Bay Area peninsula as well as Los Angeles. It may take some time to roll out the service into these new geographies, but this is a very bullish sign of what's to come from Alphabet's moonshot. Originally, I was a huge Waymo skeptic, but now after a ride in SF a few months ago, I became a believer. It's smooth, fast, and very comfortable. There's a good chance they're losing money on every ride, but the potential for this to be a gamechanger is undeniable. my original Waymo vs Tesla video: https://youtu.be/MGOo06xzCeU?si=8oBJH1TFDn6iIjaT My X/Twitter: https://twitter.com/gfilche HyperChange Patreon :) https://www.patreon.com/hyperchange Disclaimer: Nothing in this show is financial advice.
