It is normal for plastic to expand with heat. Louvers are no different. Unfortunately the manufacturer had only made tight fitting holes on the lovers not allowing for any thermal expansion. Although not an optimal design it is possible to elongate the hole slightly inward to prevent the lovers from bowing up. In this video I show what I did to stop the rear louvers on my Challenger from bowing up and hitting the trunk on hot days. Any aftermarket modifications may reduce structural integrity and may increase risk. Please do so only at you own risk. Although the I have not had any issues with this mod on mine I cannot be held responsible so again do so at your own risk! ------ My Channel is about having Fun, Adventure and things that make life more enjoyable in hopes to inspire you. On occasion I will do a product review but generally this is a Lifestyle Vlog of a Car and technojunke. My Car is a 2019 Dodge Challenger Widebody with all options except the Tech Package. My Drone is the DJI Mavic Air and the Camera used is the GoPro Hero 7 in 2.7K Linear.
