Butterfly Girls Band is a national troupe composed of young and beautiful female artists in Zhejiang Song & Dance Theatre. Its specialty is playing local music of Zhejiang province and Jiangnan Sizhu, a genre of traditional Chinese instrumental music that thrives in south China. The performances of this band involve singing and dancing, presenting musical and visual feasts to the audience. As a well-renowned and excellent folk music band, Butterfly Girls often represents China and Zhejiang in many global cultural exchange activities. They have traveled to approximately 40 countries and regions in Asia, Europe, Africa, America, and Oceania.
