30A Florida is a beautiful place to LIVE! 30A FL offers many events throughout the year along with incredible restaurants, shopping and year-long activities. Take a look below at my tops picks for the Best Places to Live on 30A for full-time living! 🏖 To begin your Florida property search: maggie.scenicsir.com 💌 Contact me with questions: maggie@scenicsir.com 🌎 Dune Allen: Dune Allen is my top pick because it's the "quietest" stretch of beach on 30A with a wide variety of housing types. Dune Allen, also referred to as the west end of 30A, offers lower density, larger stretches of public beach and close proximity to one of our highly-ranked elementary schools. There aren't any large planned communities on the west end of 30A or high-rise condominiums keeping the tourist populations lower during the busy seasons on 30A. Dune Allen is perfect for full-time living on 30A offering a slower pace and easy access to the beach while still offering many aspects of the 30A lifestyle many have come to love: outdoor activities, incredible restaurants and charming shops. Dune Allen Beach, Florida was one of the earliest communities to develop on Scenic 30A Highway in Northwest Florida. Dune Allen Beach, Florida is a quieter neighborhood community at the westernmost end of 30A in Walton County, FL. Just west of Blue Mountain Beach, this unspoiled beach town is conveniently close to U.S. Highway 98 and 16 miles east of Destin. Dune Allen Beach is particularly suitable for those looking for a quiet retreat surrounded by nature. While neighboring communities provide lively Town Center shops and restaurants, the amenities at Dune Allen Beach focus on the historical significance and unspoiled natural beauty of the area. For casual dining, Stinky’s Fish Camp is a culinary crowd-pleaser, despite its unusual name, and a new beach access point is located right across the street. Home to three rare coastal dune lakes, including Stallworth Lake with its brackish waters, this community is ideal for nature lovers, artists, writers, and serenity seekers. Meandering trails lead to Oyster Lake, which is shaped like an oyster but was once reputedly brimming with freshwater oysters. At the west end of Dune Allen Beach FL is the 1,600-acre Topsail Hill State Preserve, one of Florida’s most treasured natural parks. With majestic sand dunes reaching up to 25 feet in height, deserted hiking trails, and miles of sandy beach for peaceful walks, Dune Allen Beach homes are more about what’s not in the area, rather than what is. 🌎 WaterSound Beach: Watersound Beach is my top "planned community" for full-time living on 30A. Two of the top reasons to call Watersound home: gated entry and over a mile of private beach. WaterSound Beach is situated on 256 acres of natural sand dunes with over a mile of white sandy beach on the Gulf Coast. The property borders the protected Camp Creek Lake, one of the world’s rare natural coastal dune lakes. Located on Scenic Highway 30A near Seagrove Beach, Seacrest Beach, Alys Beach, and Inlet Beach, WaterSound is emphasizes a community lifestyle with amenities that can easily be reached on foot or by bike. The manned security entrance gives reassuring peace of mind. Winding boardwalks and pedestrian bridges connect individual WaterSound homes with the beach, dunes, community pools, and restaurants at The Hub. WaterSound homeowners can choose optional membership to the WaterSound Beach Club with its 7,000 square-foot pool. The club includes a members’ dining room, bar, and outdoor dining terrace with coastal views. The Tom Fazio-designed Camp Creek Golf Club adjoins the WaterSound property, offering a challenging 7,151-yard, par-72 course for golfers on undulating coastal fairways while also having access to Shark's Tooth Golf Club, one of the finest along the coast. 🌎 Blue Mountain Beach Blue Mountain Beach round out our list for very similar reasons as Dune Allen Beach. Blue Mountain Beach Florida takes its unusual name from the wild blue lupines that cover the nearby dunes while also being situated on the highest recorded elevation on the Gulf of Mexico, although at 64 feet it can hardly be called a mountain. Blue Mountain Beach community is close to Grayton Beach and Dune Allen Beach at the western end of 30A. This neighborly community has a few independent businesses including a health food store and a local art gallery. Scattered along 30A are a number of restaurants and bars, a bike rental business, and Redfish Village. 🎥 My Channel: My name is Maggie McCown and welcome to my YouTube channel!
