Following on from the health and wellness-inspired collection of the previous season, the brand is motioning towards the themes of love and attraction. The ‘Law of Attraction’ is a spiritual belief that the positive or negative thoughts a person has brings those same positive or negative experiences into their life. It is one that is based on the idea that people equate to their thoughts. As energetic beings, we embody that which we believe. “Energy is our pulse word,” says Sunny Williams, the founder. The collection itself generates positive energy. Detailed motifs of embroidered roses add romance to the collection and the sheer applique fabrics add to the attractiveness. This season the brand continues to focus on structured outerwear and abstract knits with an emphasis on vegan-friendly staples. Sunny describes some of the well-thought-out details featured within the collection “Our denim has been sandblasted to give a natural washed-out look and our new fishtail silhouette gives a full body to our skirts. We believe the House of Sunny girl wants more drama in her ready-to-wear wardrobe.” The super feminine and romantic details of the collection are offset by the masculinity of key pieces like the double-breasted blazer, hybrid bomber/biker jackets and sailor collar styles. Moss mounds flocked with flowers, statues, gardens and heritage have played a key part in the story and the idea of romance and love sparks joy for the customer.
