Why Do Manadlaorians Absolutely Hate Droids? Many people think it is just Din Djarin who hates droids, but in fact, most mandalorians had deep mistrust or even hatred for droids. The origins of this can be traced all the way back to the Old Republic era when the Mandalorians teamed up with both the Sith and the Jedi to defeat a common enemy known as the Eternal Empire. The Eternal Empire used ancient technology created by the ancient Iokath to dominate the other factions in the Galaxy. But at the end of their rule they started using droids known as Skytroopers. One day, these Skytroopers swarmed and brutally executed the Mandalorian leader, Mandalore the Vindicated.
