We test the new Polestar 2 and see what this electric sedan is like to drive. Subscribe: https://bit.ly/3fnfVTQ | Visit Chasing Cars: https://bit.ly/2DpFZQP The 2022 Polestar 2 is a fully electric midsize sedan directly targetted at the Tesla Model 3, but also at midsize electric crossovers like the Hyundai Ioniq 5, Kia Niro, Kia EV6, Audi Q4 e-tron and the forthcoming Toyota BZ4X and Subaru Solterra. Polestar is an off-shoot of Swedish brand Volvo, and future Polestar models will come in different shapes and sizes. Under the skin the Polestar 2 shares much of its architecture (and its platform) with the Volvo XC40 Recharge. Today, we test the front-wheel drive Polestar 2 Single Motor Long Range, but standard range and dual-motor AWD versions are also available in Australia at price points designed to compete with the Model 3.
