The international Colloquium 51 had kicked off a creative thinking process: How do we put humanity at the centre of our business activities? The summer of purpose and in special the Colloquium 51 provides a space for social creativity and an economic dialogue that ranges from the theory of science to entrepreneurial action. At the Colloquium 51 during the first summer of purpose we came up with 3 key questions inspired by social science: 1. What are the key findings and lessons learnedthat we can take from the pandemic crisis? 2. Why are contributions to the common good less valued by the system than speculative investments at stock markets? 3. How can we create a society that considers the rights of all life on this planet? And what is the role of corporates and the economy to sustain those rights in the future? Creative, dynamic and interdisciplinary dialogues about learnings, perspectives and purpose led to a conclusion of concrete key findings: Conclusio 1 – Covid-19 Vaccine as a Global Common Good Conclusio 2 – WeDefining the Economy Conclusio 3 – All have a Voice In this video you can see Prof. Yunus' appeal on making COVID-19 vaccine a common good.
