As late autumn arrives, Giant hornets (Vespa mandarinia) come to attack Japanese honeybees (Apis cerana japonica). These hornets are raising their queens, but with winter approaching, there are fewer insects available for them to feed on. Because of this, they take the risk of targeting honeybee hives. I prefer not to harm the Giant hornets. To stop their attacks, I carefully captured them one by one with tweezers and released them in another location.
