Let’s keep our homemade holiday decoration series going, shall we? 🥰 These beautiful DIY oil candles by @sugarandcharm will make such a magical addition to our tablescapes this season… And they’re easy to create with ingredients you have in your apothecary and kitchen 🕯️ Here are Eden’s instructions so you too can make your own: Oil candles burn nice and slow, especially with olive, sunflower, or canola oil, keeping a steady, beautiful glow. They’re the perfect choice for gatherings - flickering warmly all night long with just the occasional top-off, adding that cozy, lasting charm your guests will love. SUPPLIES: You’ll need small glass jars, a light oil like olive or sunflower oil, cotton wicks with fasteners (or floating wicks if you’re using a jar with a large opening), and decorative touches (think cinnamon sticks, dried oranges, cranberries, and rosemary). DIRECTIONS: Arrange decorations: Add a few decorative items to each jar, keeping them near the sides for a pretty visual effect. Pour in oil: Fill each jar about two-thirds full with oil, making sure the decorations are submerged. Insert wick: Use a skewer or chopstick to press the wick down into the center of the jar, securing it at the bottom. Trim the wick if needed, leaving a quarter-inch above the oil. Light & enjoy: Light your candle and enjoy the cozy ambiance! Just top off with more oil as needed. This DIY involves an open flame, so please use caution and never leave oil candles unattended. Always place them on a heat-safe surface and keep away from flammable objects. Enjoy responsibly! 🍂🍂🍂 What are you crafting this holiday season? 🤗 #herbalacademy #holiday #holidays #crafts #crafting #diyholiday #diydecor #herbalism
