Born in Tiachiv, Czechoslovakia, Helen Zelikovich Rieder, z"l was 16 years old when her family was deported to Auschwitz-Birkenau. Coming from a family of nine children, Helen and her brother Yaakov were the only Holocaust survivors. 50 years later, Helen sat down with Survivors of the Shoah Visual History Foundation to share experiences from her life, including memories from childhood, enduring five concentration camps, and rebuilding her life after liberation.
