I witnessed the daily life of Turgut Kahya and Ferahi Kahya, who have been living on the mountainside for 14 years in the peaceful world they’ve built for themselves. Turgut Kahya, motivated by a desire to serve his village and make use of the streams’ potential, has single-handedly established an organic facility. This facility also supports fish farming. Their lifestyle, in perfect harmony with nature, showed me how meaningful a self-sufficient life can be. That day, I had the pleasure of sitting at their table, adorned with natural ingredients they produced themselves, and listening to their stories. Due to weather conditions, I couldn’t complete my outdoor filming, but I will definitely visit this wonderful family again.
