Born in Cairo, Egypt, Dr. Habashi is a renowned metallurgist who has dedicated his life to teaching. Now a Professor Emeritus, Habashi has spent over 20 years at Laval University. He has given lectures around the world including China, Peru, Russia and South Africa. He also holds several patents including a process capable to reduce the toxicity of asbestos.
