We learn how to find the median of raw list of discrete data. The method consists of re-organising the numbers in increasing order followed by locating the middle value using the (n + 1)/2 formula. We see that if we have an even number of values, the median is the average of the two middle values. If we have an odd number of values then the median is the unique middle value of the list.
