This is the first explainer video on navigating the planning system in Ireland created by the Office of the Planning Regulator. In this video we describe the first stage in the planning application process: ‘Pre-application Consultation’, sometimes known as pre-planning. During the pre-application stage you can meet with your local planning authority to discuss your development proposal before you proceed to prepare your planning application.
