**I’m referring to untreated malignant narcissists in this video. Anyways, a malignant narcissist is a person who is comorbid with both NPD and ASPD, which can result in an individual with a lot of trauma, and who doesn’t know how to healthily show love or form bonds with others that aren’t transactional. They may be self-destructive, or sometimes they display that destruction externally. They’re highly manipulative, and usually that’s due to learned behaviors they had to pick up in early childhood because of hypervigilance and survival mechanisms. They can get better with treatment, but they are the hardest subtype to treat. Not every narcissist is malignant. For some reason, a lot of people group all narcissists into this subtype, when that isn’t the case. Many people with NPD act much different than the malignant subtype, but because this is one of the more vindictive and malicious types, they tend to get lumped in and categorized with them because people assume all narcissists behave in this way. Just like with any disorder, there’s a range of symptoms and also a scale of severity. #npd #narcissist #narcissism #narcissistic #narcissisticpersonalitydisorder #npdawareness #aspd #antisocialpersonalitydisorder #mentalhealth #malignantnarcissist #empath #lgbt #toxicrelationships #narcawareness #narcabuse
