A young boy hikes a forest trail with his golden retriever, laughing as pinecones tumble down the slope. Suddenly, a mountain lion leaps from the rocks, snarling and stalking closer. The dog barks and stands between them but is quickly knocked aside. Out of the trees, a massive grizzly bear charges, roaring, and slams the lion against a fallen log in a brutal struggle. When the fight ends, the boy hides behind the bear’s leg, trembling, as the retriever limps back and rests its head on the bear’s paw — a moment of shared calm in the forest silence.
