To learn how to take amazing portraits of your family, go here: http://bit.ly/1rnLZWQ How to Get Sharp Photos with Your DSLR Every Time – There is a difference between blurry and pout of focus photos. In this video you will learn the difference and the causes of blurry or out of focus digital camera photos and how you can easily fix the problems to get sharp images every time: 1. Depth of field is too shallow 2. The camera moves while the shutter is open and the photo is being taken 3. The subject moves while the photo is being taken 4. The subject is out of focus Using your Aperture setting you can adjust the depth of field so either more or less of the image is in focus. For landscapes, you usually want everything in focus, but for portraits sometime you want a shallow depth of field so just your subject and not the background is in focus. Another cause is the camera moves while the shutter is open, i.e. camera shake. If this happens, the entire image will be blurry. In low light especially, even tiny movements like releasing the shutter can cause enough movement to make the image blurry. So you need to hold the camera steady and perhaps use a tripod. If your subject moves, the part that is moving, such as an arm or a car, will be blurry while other parts may be sharp. To avoid this, you need a faster shutter speed. Focus problems can also cause your subject to be blurry. Sometimes the background will be sharp and the subject is blurry. This is a focusing problem. You are focusing your camera on the wrong subject. You can fix that by making sure your focus box, often a red or green box, is around the area you want in sharp focus.
