If you already have or are about to use your SumUp card reader, you might be wondering how and when you’ll receive your well-earned money. 💸 In this short “How to” video, we’ll give you an overview on how to get paid with SumUp and how SumUp payouts work. Once you’ve completed the payment with one of our card readers or other payment tools, we’ll send your earnings to you automatically – there is no need for you to do anything else. The time it takes for the money to arrive in your SumUp profile depends on the type of bank account associated with your profile. If you’re using the SumUp Business Account, you’ll receive your payouts the next day – even on weekends. If you’re using another account, it might take up to 3 and in some cases up to 5 days, depending on the type of card your customers use to pay. To receive your money, you can also choose between daily, weekly or monthly payouts – depending on your individual business needs. In order to change your payout settings, head to your SumUp profile, hit the profile icon, then “Settings” and choose where and when you want to be paid. Changed settings only impact future sales – any payments already taken will be paid via your old payout method. Want to find more about SumUp payouts?
