More than 1,000 people attended a national Cyber Careers Show run by the IET and Cyber Security Challenge UK (CSCUK) at IET London: Savoy Place on 17 January 2018. The day-long event was aimed at students over the age of 16, industry professionals looking to re-skill into cyber security and anyone else considering a career in the fast-growing field - demand for cyber security skills is set to rocket over the next five years. The event featured presentations from guest speakers throughout the day on a wide variety of topics related to cyber security. Visitors also got the opportunity to speak to a number of exhibitors - and potential employers - throughout the day, including BT, BAE Systems, IBM, Dark Trace, NCC Group, BAE, Qinetiq and ROKE. The highlight of the evening session was a panel session on changing careers into cyber security.
