SOUNDBITE (English) Andrew Tate, Internet influencer: ‘’UK politics is an absolute mess. Everyone's lost interest because the two sides of the same coin, it's completely corrupt garbage and nobody understands anything. I grew up in Luton and I grew up on the streets. I grew up amongst the knife crime. I grew up amongst the drugs. I grew up amongst the problem. Now, I'm one of the most successful and famous people on the planet, and I know I can fix it because I'm more competent than all of these clowns. The chance to me becoming UK Prime Minister within the next ten years is somewhere near 100% because I'm one of the most well known people on the planet who can self-fund. And everybody understands. Even if you don't like me, I get things done. I will be the next UK Prime Minister. I guarantee that there is a timeline that everybody is going to live in. Every single person watching this video at some point in the future is going to watch me become the Prime Minister of the UK and I will fix every single problem." 5. Various of tribunal STORYLINE: Internet influencer Andrew Tate spoke to the media about his aspirations to contest a general election in the UK as he appeared at a Romanian court for a hearing. Speaking outside a tribunal in Bucharest, Tate said he wanted to launch a political party because "UK politics is an absolute mess." Last month, an appeals court in Romania ruled that the human trafficking case against Tate, his brother Tristan and two Romanian women cannot go to trial because of multiple legal and procedural irregularities on the part of the prosecutors. The ruling comes two years after Andrew Tate, 38, and his brother Tristian Tate, 36, were arrested, along with the two women. The four are accused of human trafficking and forming a criminal gang to sexually exploit women, and Andrew also faces an additional rape charge. A British court also recently ruled that in a separate case against the Tate brothers, police can seize more than 2.6 million pounds ($3.3 million) to cover years of unpaid taxes from the pair.
