This is a pomelo, and it’s the largest citrus fruit—it's as big as my head!  Native to Southeast Asia, it's much bigger than an orange or tangerine, with a thick peel and spongy white pith. The fruit itself is mildly sweet, less acidic than a grapefruit.  I eat almost everything—peel, pith, and fruit—so it generates very little waste. In future videos, I’ll show you how to turn the white part into delicious candies!  When eating the fruit, make sure to remove the membrane—it’s tough to chew but totally worth it.
