However, what came from this was a deeper scrutiny into how many fake accounts and bot account these social platforms have. Twitter has already scrubbed millions of subscribers and you can bet Meta is doing the same. What this has to do with the advertising industry is when your using social media, organic or paid, and you believe you are reaching so many people and getting so many human impressions, that may not be the case because there is so much fraud. So, my suggestion is for all agencies and clients out there, dig as deep as you can and look into fraud percentage because these social companies are all under severe pressure to do better.
