At the National Acoustics Laboratories they programmed different hearing loss profiles and measured the gains of the headphone accommodations feature in comparison to real ear insertion gain prescribed by the widely used NAL-NL2 hearing aid prescription algorithm. They found that at normal speech levels, the AirPods Pro matched closely up to around 5 kHz, but they didn't provide much gain in higher frequencies.
