Vice President Kamala Harris on Friday described “what’s at stake” in the 2024 election in notably vague terms – telling Arizona voters that “it’s packed with some stuff!” before bursting out in laughter. Harris, who appeared to be speaking without a teleprompter, began her remarks at the Scottsdale campaign event by telling supporters that as Election Day nears, America’s status as a “role model” for democracy “weighs on me sometimes.” About five minutes into her speech, however, the vice president decided to articulate the importance of the presidential election in even more plain terms. “So when we think about what’s at stake in this election – well, it’s packed with some stuff!” Harris said, cracking up immediately afterwards.
