This resort is very attractive as soon as you walk in it has very nicely designed the lobby that looks sort of like an entrance to a Mayan Pyramids so are all the building sort of triangular shape. The staff in the reception is very friendly and we received a very prompt welcome on arrival, our room was ready in no time. The rooms are very big with a little balcony and a patio set to enjoy the outside. Beds are very comfortable and have very big bathroom with a private jacuzzi in the room and separate shower stall. We are always on the move so we almost never use a la carte restaurants but we loved the buffet in this place every day different theme of food and very delicious with huge selection of food to choose from such as Italian buffet, Chinese, Mexican, International food, the staff is very friendly as per most resorts in Mexico and deliver exceptional customer service. The Night shows in the resort are very entertaining very skilled crew every night different show. We saw few of them Thriller Michael Jackson, Rock show, Magic and Mexican show. Our favorite one was the Mexican show as they had Aztec Indian costumes with all the fancy headdresses. The Pool in the resort is very big but it can get overcrowded on sunny days it was not a problem in our case as the weather was not on our side during this stay, in the middle of the pool bar with nice selection of refreshments. You can also enjoy the lazy river going around the resort that is so much fun to jump on the tube with the drink in your hand and enjoy it for the moment, the beautiful flowers and wildlife such as iguanas butterfly and birds. The beach is quite big and very clean with a small Mayan ruin building on the cliffs. The sand on the beach does not compare to Dominican Republic or Cuba as it is a bit coarse with pieces of corals. There is a nice snorkeling are around the cliffs and you can spot a turtle and variety of tropical fish. I recommend this resort especially as a family resort, kids will love the lazy river and it is a good time to spend with the family. The hotel grounds are very well maintained and there is a lot of pathways and walkways to stroll around the property. During our stay we encountered Huracan Rina, so all room windows were covered with boards all activities were cancelled food was delivered to the rooms that was quite an experience, the rain was pouring as we never seen before. During the few nice days that we had we traveled in the rental car around Riviera Maya to Playa del Carmen, Coba, Chichen-Itza Tulum and Xcaret Park I’ll include the highlights from our travels on the end card and a link bellow in the description.
