Vanguard manages trillions of assets and they are one of the, if not THE, leaders in the ETF and mutual fund space. They were also the first to have an index fund and there is a cult of Bogleheads out there. There are THREE great ETFs out there for all investors - beginner investors and even advanced investors. Investing into Vanguard ETFs is a sure way to get to financial freedom and you can create millions of dollars in wealth. Now, what three Vanguard ETFs do we consider to be the best of the best? We go over the three big ETFs - with VTI, VOO and VYM. Here is a brief background on the 3 ETFs: 1.) VTI - Vanguard's total Stock ETF - This ETF holds over 4,000 individual stocks, aka the entire total stock market. 2.) VOO - Vanguard's S&P 500 ETF - This ETF holds approximately 500 individual stocks and tracks the S&P 500 index. 3.) VYM - Vanguard High Dividend Yield ETF - This ETF tracks the High Dividend Yield index, and is the smaller of the 3 ETFs amongst the Vanguard group. In our video we break down the following attributes of each Exchange Traded Fund from Vanguard: Asset size, expense ratio, stock price, dividend yield, valuation, performance and even top 10 holdings. The question always is - what is the best Vanguard ETF to invest in? Or is one Vanguard ETF better than another? Here is the quick breakdown from the video - Vanguard's VOO has the best overall return amongst the trio. Further, VOO is tied with VTI with the lowest expense ratio at only 0.03%. From a price appreciation stand point, one would think VTI would take the cake, but VOO has dominated, at least over the last 11 years. Then, from a dividend growth stand point, Vanguard's VYM wins that at almost a 6% dividend growth rate from the last 3 years, on average. VOO wasn't too far behind, just under 5%. How about income investors or dividend income investors? Well, all three are great ETFs, but if you are focused on more income NOW, as well as higher income in the future, VYM definitely wins that battle, with the highest dividend yield of over 2.70%, with the highest dividend growth rate amongst the 3 Vanguard ETFs. In the end - you cannot go wrong with any Vanguard ETF. As you'll hear in the video, if you wanted more of the appreciation or growth in your value, then investing into VOO and VTI would be your best bet.
