Have you recently purchased a SumUp Air and now you want to use your card reader for the first time? Or you haven’t used it for a while and can’t remember how to? In this video, we'll show you in a few easy steps how to activate your SumUp Air card reader in less than a minute. To use the Air card reader, simply open the SumUp app. If you haven’t downloaded it yet, head to the App Store of Google Play first. Once you’re all set, open the SumUp App, and hit the “Checkout” button. Then enter [minimum payment amount for locale] and hit “Charge”. Now, connect your card reader by checking the 3-digit-code on its back and select the correct reader option in the SumUp App. All done! Your card reader is connected and you’re ready to start taking payments. Did your Air card reader not turn on? No problem. Simply tap the profile icon and hit “Payment methods” and “Air” to manually connect using your 3-digit card reader code.
